Peter Killeen was born in Dublin in 1977. Peter began working for Cast Bronze Foundry in 1996 and it was here that he began casting his own work. From 2002 to 2003 he was a sitting member of Sculpture in Context Exhibition. In 2003 he went to Australia and worked for the Australian Bronze Sculpture House in Sydney.
